I am planning on re-decorating my daughter's room. Her first room/nursery had a very soft colour scheme of white and butter yellow, which had a drastic transformation to a toddler room decorated in tones of bright red, pink and orange. Now we are ready for a light colour scheme again. I have already bought an antique white cast iron bed and a peachy pink wall paper plus a white expedit for storage (hiding away junk). I have lots of other ideas/diy projects lined up for her room which I would love to share with you all once I get started. We might be moving houses hence I am just at the planning/decorating -mentally stage yet. Here are a few images of girls rooms which I am loving at the moment!
I love stripes, specially in black and white. I have quite a few pieces in my own home in this lovely pattern. I'm thinking about covering my home's entrance walls in black and white striped wall paper. I just hope with all the black and white going on in my home (stripes, zebra print, polka dots, you name it), the wall paper won't make us all dizzy!
I bought this lamp only because of the striped shade.
I am a mum of two and love all design-related things from Fashion to Art. Grew up in South East Asia but have been lovingly calling Melbourne home for many years now. In another life (pre-miss 3) used to work in advertising. These days reading my fav blogs (instead of doing house chores) feeds my creative soul. Hope you'll find some inspiration here!
