I am sorry for my lack of posts in the past few days, have just been very busy. Am hoping to start posting regularly now.
These pictures have inspired me to go hunting for crates. I think a crate storage unit would look so good on a decked outdoor area, maybe alongside a daybed.
Also I am very excited to receive my first blog award by 7 Year Wedding.
And a huge thanks to Party Perfect for featuring my daughter's third birthday party.
what a great storage idea, I really like that top pic! I think it's the colour actually... loving brown at the mom (never thought I would say that after the mission browns in the 70's in Aus!!) lol
PS, try and keep up with my "one post a night" rule, it keeps me up till 2am every night at the mom!
Don't worry about lack of posts, Cyma. It's so hard to keep up sometimes. isn't it? You have shown some lovely storage ideas here, and I think that we can take some of these ideas and use them in our own home. XXXX
HI Cyma Well i am guilty of lack of comments.. same busy crazy.. but ... now I am here.. let me say Congratulations on your lovely award!!! Fabulous!! you deserve it!! and I love these wooden crates.. I have bought something similar from Ikea but doesn't have the same rustic appeal as those in images #1 and #3
I saw some old crates on the roadside last week. I wanted to stop, but I have no room left for storage at this point. I love them though and want to do something one day.
Those crates are just fantastic - wish I could stumble across 12 matching ones! That first photo really appeals to me but I also love the idea of mounting them on the wall as in the 3rd picture. That would be perfect for all the clutter in my sons' room. Clare x
That first image is wonderful. Those apple crates used to be all over the place but new they are being replaced with plastic and I see the old ones for sale for quite a high price. I should have salvaged and painted some sooner! Thanks for the inspiration.
I am a mum of two and love all design-related things from Fashion to Art. Grew up in South East Asia but have been lovingly calling Melbourne home for many years now. In another life (pre-miss 3) used to work in advertising. These days reading my fav blogs (instead of doing house chores) feeds my creative soul. Hope you'll find some inspiration here!
