Tea Too!

I love this shop, although I drink only breakfast tea, still I like to pop in T2 to check out their huge variety of tea. I adore their displays and specially their pretty teacups.





I bought six of these gorgeous teacups yesterday for $108, now I'm looking for some pretty plates to go with these!

Choices

I truly believe we are the choices we make. Life is all about choices and everything you choose sets a direction for your life. My father used to quote Russell Nelson,“While we are free to choose, once we have made those choices, we are tied to the consequences of those choices.” “So choose wisely,” he used to say.
It’s only now that I fully grasp his wise words.

Cristina Re's Gorgeous Home!

I was just going through an old issue of Madison magazine and came across this lovely feature about stationery designer Cristina Re. I remember I loved the interior of her beautiful melbourne house. I adore the use of reds and pinks and also the bold splashes of yellow and blue. Excuse the quality of these scans, hope you'll enjoy these pictures!

I know most of you have already seen these images from the famous Vogue US December 2003 photoshoot Alice in Wonderland, but I just had to record these in my blog too as it's my all time favourite editorial. I would be redoing my workspace in shades of blue very soon, and these pictures would definitely be going on my inspirational board!

I had almost forgotten this word! Going through the latest issue of Shop Til You Drop I came across the name of this website telegramstop.com. I really like this idea, looks quite straightforward too, might send out a few as "save the date" for my daughters birthday.

Keeping calm!

Just a quick post today as I have so much to do. I have thought many times about getting a "Keep calm" poster, but it seems to be everywhere these days so I decided against it. However, I am constantly reminding myself of this everday now that I am trying to do a gazillion things all at once.

Maybe I should print my own with a polka dot background or a striped one...

Floating shelves

I love the look that can be achieved with these simple shelves. Floating shelves take up minimal space but can have a stunning visual impact if done well. I specially like to use them for displaying art, but this time I am thinking about getting a few in my workspace, I hope I can keep them well-organized. We would be heading to Ikea soon to get some!
