Gorgeous girl's rooms!

I am planning on re-decorating my daughter's room. Her first room/nursery had a very soft colour scheme of white and butter yellow, which had a drastic transformation to a toddler room decorated in tones of bright red, pink and orange. Now we are ready for a light colour scheme again. I have already bought an antique white cast iron bed and a peachy pink wall paper plus a white expedit for storage (hiding away junk). I have lots of other ideas/diy projects lined up for her room which I would love to share with you all once I get started. We might be moving houses hence I am just at the planning/decorating -mentally stage yet.
Here are a few images of girls rooms which I am loving at the moment!

  2. They are lovely images, esp the last two and also that pale blue and pink surprisingly works well together. I love doing the children's rooms - have you looked at decals, the high quality ones (like Stickee) are v effective to give that tree garden look I have some in my daughter's room. xoxo

  5. Hi Cyma!
I vote for images 3 - 5 because the wall colour is divine (and I love it with the blue furniture) and will see her into her tween-teen years well (plus there's black apple pictures on the wall.) But they are all lovely - I also love all the trees and I can't wait to see what you decide!

Love all these images. The first is really quite special. I think it fuels the imagination, almost a fairytale. Love all the images from Lily-G also. Such a great room for a young girl.

Have a great weekend. x Julie

  12. I had boys, and didn't get to do any girl's room decorating, but when my granddaughter came along, I had so much fun doing castle/countryside murals! Can't wait to see what you come up with! (Drop by my blog sometime, I named you in a blog award!)
