Yay! it’s the weekend

The last week has been a real juggling act with my family visiting from overseas (so being a tourist guide), kids school holidays, approving product samples for my home wares line, and trying to learn the technicalities of blogging and this image best depicts my current state.

Loving Yellow!

Maybe it's due to the constant grey cast and rainy weather here in Melbourne, but I am drawn to the sunny shade not only in interiors but also in clothing and accessories. Here are a few of my favourite images to bring some sunshine in your day!

Tea Too!

I love this shop, although I drink only breakfast tea, still I like to pop in T2 to check out their huge variety of tea. I adore their displays and specially their pretty teacups.





I bought six of these gorgeous teacups yesterday for $108, now I'm looking for some pretty plates to go with these!

Choices

I truly believe we are the choices we make. Life is all about choices and everything you choose sets a direction for your life. My father used to quote Russell Nelson,“While we are free to choose, once we have made those choices, we are tied to the consequences of those choices.” “So choose wisely,” he used to say.
It’s only now that I fully grasp his wise words.

Cristina Re's Gorgeous Home!

I was just going through an old issue of Madison magazine and came across this lovely feature about stationery designer Cristina Re. I remember I loved the interior of her beautiful melbourne house. I adore the use of reds and pinks and also the bold splashes of yellow and blue. Excuse the quality of these scans, hope you'll enjoy these pictures!

Alice in Wonderland!

I know most of you have already seen these images from the famous Vogue US December 2003 photoshoot Alice in Wonderland, but I just had to record these in my blog too as it's my all time favourite editorial.
